Spring

rusted chirps squeak exalted!
like a high pile of pearls
skittering under four graceful feet

pour down lava
split and talk and
hold still
red
stray
velvet maple leaves

the fourteen hour car ride
silence

smoking 2 mountains green
throb their own valley
pushing leaves twice

witness
equinox's shinny

frosted black air

confident swollen buds

our mutual acre tilled
seeded with magic knives
and sheeps' heads

we've cut each other
from inside our own land

baaaa-ing.

Strawberry night
impossible to distinguish
hands
atomic red moon

dig in
up to our waists in juice
drink till our bellies are 2 taut rubies

still craving

scent of iron and mushrooms
rainwater elixir I

press to your glass soil
feel my own sharp edges tangled
root fingers
down
to where your liver pulses
with my toxins

where a single seedling sprouts

chrysanthemum or crab grass
we are not concerned

simply be
green
